We implement low level e collar training to all of our dogs because we believe that is the most effective and consistent way of communicating with your dog. The same way we use a leash to ask our dogs to sit or down or stay, we use the e-collars in lieu of a physical leash over time so that we have greater reliability with our dogs off leash. The dogs will also be on a very strict schedule in order to re-pattern and reinforce the good behavior we teach.

Obedience Expectations

• “Place” - Dog will stay in designated place until given release command

• “Down” - Dog will go into down until given release command 

• “Sit” - Dog will sit until given release command (only for 4+ weeks)

• “Heel” - Cue for walking

• “Here” - Recall

• “Enough” - Dog will move off of object of interest

General expectations

• Wait for food - Will not eat unless given permission

• Wait at doors - Will not go through unless given permission

• Wait at car doors - Will not jump in unless given permission

• Crate training - Go in and out of crate on command, and stay quiet.

• Impulse Control - No nipping, jumping on people, counter-surfing, etc.

• Walking properly on leash (No barking, lunging, sniffing, pulling)

Rates & Services

One-on-One Sessions Option

At client's home for those who want to learn how to do the obedience training themselves.

$140 (1 - 1.5 hOURS), INITIAL ASSESSMENT + A BASIC PROTOCOL.

$375 (3 HOURS TOTAL), ONE 2-HOUR INITIAL SESSION FOLLOWED BY A 1 HOUR SESSION THE FOLLOWING WEEK.

$700 (6 hours total), One 2-Hour initial session followed by 1-hour sessions for the next 4 weeks.

Board and Train Option

There is a maximum of two client dogs at a time, please contact directly for availability and scheduling. Click Here for our contact information.

All board and trains include: General manners and obedience commands, and confidence building training. Also, 2 hours of training the owners at pickup time and 4 hours of follow up at owner's discretion.

• 2 weeks, $2,500 **

  • Fully trained for in home situations and suburban streets.

  • We suggest this option for people who keep their dogs mostly inside with minimal public activities.

• 3 weeks, $3,300 **

  • Fully trained for in home situations, parks, and cities.

  • We suggest this option for people who live in the city or go to off leash parks and/or trails often.

• 4 weeks - 8 weeks, 4 weeks $4,000 and $500 for every additional week ***

  • Fully trained for in home situations, parks, and cities.

  • We suggest this option for dogs with problems like:

    1. Dog-to-dog aggression

    2. Human aggression

    3. Resource guarding

    4. Separation anxiety

    5. Severe fearfulness

    6. Leash reactivity

** If I feel that your dog struggled a lot in certain areas, I will keep your dog for extra days/weeks longer at no extra charge.

*** I suggest all fearful and/or aggressive dogs on the 4 week program and add additional weeks depending on their needs.
